Im syked that assassins creed brotherhood is out. I already pre ordered it, and im going to pick it up sometime soon. I cannot wait to see what the game is like to be able to play with other people, instead of just always solo player. When first play online, though, i will have to be careful, becase every single kid i have asked about it said that they were going to assassinate everyone else, so first few days will be fun and crazy to play with other people. I have been waiting for this too come out for months now, and I cant wait to start playing.
Multiplayer is a big step in a game, but it always depends on how it is implemented into the game. I hope that they dont screw up like many other game's first times with multiplayer, like making the game dependent on the person playing with others, robing the player of the true freedom that is prominant in a game like assassin's creed. Playing with others is always fun, and if they make it fully optional to play with others to complete the game, and give the players the ability to use their companions to their advantage, then the game will be awsome. If they make the game so that some missions are required or necessary to have other's help, or if it sets up the environment so that many people would be required to do little stupid simple things, then the game will turn out bad. The best way that i can imagine them using the multiplayer to make the game better is to add abilities to do things like, say, one assassin being able to lift another one in the air after a runing start, using teamwork to get one person to a higher area they would not have been able to get to easily. The game will be awsome if they give the player's abilities to help and interact with one another, but it will be bad if they underuse or overpush the use of multiple players.
The game should still be awsome forgetting about multiplayer. Assassin's creed has always been an awsome game, so it will be exciting to see new features and things to do, upgrading it from its two past games. I also cant wait to see the continuation of the story from the previous game, hopefully being able to play a little more as desmond, the character who is seeing the assassins in the past.
